Ambler (SEPTA station)

Ambler is a station along the SEPTA Lansdale/Doylestown Line (formerly the R5). The station is officially located at the intersection of Butler Avenue and Main Street in Ambler, Pennsylvania, however the actual location is on Butler Avenue and Short Race Street, a block west of Main Street. The station provides connections to SEPTA Bus Routes 94 and 95. In FY 2013, Ambler station had a weekday average of 1017 boardings and 816 alightings. The station includes a 496-space parking lot.
The Trax Restaurant & Café operates out of the former station house, which was originally built by the Reading Company.
The station was briefly featured in the 1966 Hayley Mills movie ''The Trouble with Angels'',〔(The Trouble With Angels: The 40th Anniversary of the Ambler, Pennsylvania filming )〕 although subsequent station scenes were shot at the Glendale Transportation Center in California.〔(Filming Locations for "The Trouble with Angels" (Internet Movie Database) )〕
